Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Previous reach truck, stand-up forklift, or warehouse equipment experience preferred
• Experience using RF scanners and barcode systems preferred
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Job Duties

• Operate a reach truck/stand-up forklift to pick and move inventory from rack locations
• Use RF scanners to accurately track inventory and order fulfillment activities
• Barcode and process incoming boxes and files
• Pull and fulfill customer access lists and orders
• Refile boxes and files into designated storage locations
• Process boxes scheduled for destruction according to company procedures
• Perform bay consolidations and warehouse organization tasks
• Conduct daily equipment inspections, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher checks
• Load, unload, and transport boxes throughout the warehouse
• Complete pickups and deliveries as assigned
• Assist with warehouse maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Return equipment to charging stations and prepare for overnight charging
• Maintain strict confidentiality and security standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating reach trucks in distribution centers or warehouse environments is preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience operating additional powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, dependability, and strong teamwork are well positioned for success as a Reach Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely work in warehouse environments with elevated storage racks and moving equipment.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surroundings while operating powered industrial vehicles.

What You Will Do


As a Reach Forklift Operator you will safely operate reach truck equipment to move, store, retrieve, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse. You will load and unload materials, replenish storage locations, support order picking, perform equipment inspections, maintain inventory accuracy, and follow established warehouse safety procedures while helping keep products moving efficiently through daily operations.
