Transactional Real Estate Attorney

New York, NY Salary: $175,000 - $225,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

A highly respected, full-service New York law firm is seeking a Real Estate Transactional Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its growing real estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated commercial real estate transactions and wants to work directly with experienced partners in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate, and close a broad range of commercial real estate transactions.
• Draft and review purchase and sale agreements, leases, development agreements, financing documents, and related transactional documents.
• Conduct due diligence, title and survey review, and coordinate closings.
• Advise clients on risk management and transaction strategy.
• Work closely with developers, owners, lenders, investors, and business clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys across corporate, construction, litigation, and tax practices on multidisciplinary matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 5+ years of real estate transactional experience , with a strong emphasis on commercial real estate matters .
• Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development transactions.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-management skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently while working effectively within a team-oriented environment.
