Production Supervisor – 2nd ShiftFind out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered.Location: Near Midway Airport | Chicago, ILSalary: $95,000–$115,000 + 2–4% annual bonusSchedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PMOpenings: 2We are seeking two experienced Production Supervisors to lead second-shift manufacturing operations at an established production facility near Midway Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who understands high-speed manufacturing, can effectively manage a union workforce, and knows how to build a positive, accountable team culture.Candidates with backgrounds in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing are encouraged to apply. A strong leadership presence, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate employee relations in a union environment are essential to success.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.Supervise, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10–20 employees, with additional temporary staff during peak season.Manage employee relations and address union grievances involving seniority, attendance, and safety in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.Monitor production metrics, staffing, efficiency, and scrap while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with safety requirements, quality standards, and applicable manufacturing procedures.Required QualificationsPrevious manufacturing experience in a production leadership or supervisory role.Active experience supervising employees in a union environment is mandatory. Candidates without union experience will not be considered.Experience with high-speed packaging and wrapping operations.Strong leadership presence, communication skills, and a team-oriented management style.Ability to manage production priorities while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.Preferred QualificationsFood manufacturing experience strongly preferred.Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is also acceptable.HACCP or SQF experience is a plus.Familiarity with production metrics, labor scheduling, and continuous improvement practices.Interested in leading a production team where safety, accountability, and culture matter? xhyhwjd Apply today to learn more.
