Job Description

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for keeping a shift of warehouse associates on track, productive, and safe. You'll be the go-to person on the floor — solving problems in real time, keeping work moving, and making sure the team hits daily targets.

What You'll Do

Lead and direct a team of warehouse associates throughout the shift
Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and adjust workflow as priorities shift
Track and report daily production numbers, attendance, and shift performance
Train new associates on processes, safety procedures, and expectations
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Communicate shift updates and issues to site management
Handle basic troubleshooting — equipment issues, staffing gaps, order discrepancies

What You'll Need

Prior experience as a lead, supervisor, or team lead in a warehouse or distribution environment
Comfortable with basic math — counts, ratios, production numbers
Familiarity with Excel (entering data, reading reports, basic spreadsheets)
Ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout a full shift (up to [X] lbs)
Strong communication skills and the ability to keep a team accountable
Reliable and punctual — this role sets the tone for the shift
Forklift/RF scanner experience a plus (not required)
