Sourcing Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the transit and infrastructure sector, is seeking a dedicated Sourcing Specialist to join their team. As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Supply Chain Management department supporting project teams and management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will enable you to thrive within a dynamic and inclusive work environment. Job Title Sourcing Specialist Location Warrendale, PA Pay Range $43-46/hr Shift Daylight hours, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. Overtime may be required. What's the Job? Manage supplier subcontracts through evaluation, qualification, selection, negotiation, costing, and project management. Resolve commercial and technical issues with suppliers, serving as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams. Create detailed supplier evaluation and risk analysis reports, presenting recommendations to management and stakeholders. Identify supplier capability gaps and develop plans for supplier development and maturation to support project needs. Lead supply chain efforts for proposal teams by creating opportunity-specific sourcing strategies with program management. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years’ experience managing large-scale subcontracts in transit or related environments. Advanced MS Excel modeling skills and experience with ERP systems (preferably Syteline). Strong logical, critical thinking, and quantitative analysis skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in a cross-cultural environment. What's in it for me?
