Security Officer Front Desk in Laguna Beach, CA Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM; Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor lobby and entrance activity, assist with access control procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence and documented visitor handling. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters according to location policies. Support hotel operations by answering questions, directing guests and/or vendors, receiving deliveries, and completing required logs, reports, and other front desk documentation. Minimum Requirements: A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
