Accountant

FRG Technology Consulting

Harahan, LA

We are seeking a temporary Senior Accountant to step in and support core accounting operations, with a strong focus on owning the month-end close process and maintaining accurate financial reporting. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who can quickly integrate into the team and provide immediate impact. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the full month‑end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Process payments and oversee day‑to‑day cash activity Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Prepare and issue invoices, ensuring proper documentation and tracking Manage government grant billing, including compliance and reporting requirements Support general accounting activities, including journal entries and account analysis Qualifications Strong understanding of accounting principles and close processes Prior experience with ERP implementations and/or data migration efforts Experience with Lawson ERP strongly preferred NetSuite experience is a plus This is a hybrid position based in New Orleans, LA requiring onsite work 2-3 days per week.
