Maintenance Director LTC

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to join our team and oversee the daily maintenance operations of our facility. As a full-time salaried position, Monday through Friday, this role also includes on-call responsibilities, with additional compensation provided for any time you are called in to work.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Director at HireCare Services - Rhode Island, you will be responsible for overseeing all facility maintenance operations, ensuring the building, equipment, and systems are properly maintained, and handling repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety checks. You will also coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed, maintain compliance with facility, safety, and regulatory standards, and respond to urgent maintenance needs, including on-call situations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all facility maintenance operations

• Ensure the building, equipment, and systems are properly maintained

• Handle repairs, preventative maintenance, and safety checks

• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed

• Maintain compliance with facility, safety, and regulatory standards

• Respond to urgent maintenance needs, including on-call situations

• Support a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience required

• Supervisory or Maintenance Director experience preferred

• Experience in a healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care setting is a plus

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general repairs, and preventative maintenance

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Reliable, organized, and able to respond to urgent maintenance needs when required

Schedule:

This is a full-time salaried position, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities.

Compensation:

Based on experience, estimated at approximately $35–$40 per hour equivalent . Final compensation will be confirmed.
