About the Opportunity

Nk & Co is seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, and sales-driven individuals to join our team for an exciting 4-day convention in Chicago this July.

As a Convention Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in representing the Nk & Co brand by creating exceptional customer experiences, engaging convention attendees, educating customers about our vegan hair and body care products, and driving sales through product recommendations and upselling.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys face-to-face sales, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is motivated by performance-based earnings.

Successful team members may be considered for additional contract opportunities with the company following the convention based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service that creates memorable shopping experiences.
• Proactively engage convention attendees and invite them to visit the Nk & Co booth.
• Build rapport with customers and identify their hair and skincare needs.
• Educate customers on product ingredients, benefits, and proper usage.
• Confidently recommend products based on customer concerns.
• Upsell complementary products, bundles, and event promotions to maximize sales.
• Process sales accurately using a mobile point-of-sale (POS) system or tablet.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking and maintaining product availability throughout the event.
• Merchandise products and maintain an organized, visually appealing booth display.
• Assist with booth setup, organization, and breakdown.
• Represent the Nk & Co brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve event sales goals.

Qualifications

Required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Comfortable approaching and engaging with new people.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to stand and work for extended periods during event hours.
• Availability to work all four days of the convention.

Preferred

• Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, brand ambassador, promotional marketing, or event sales.
• Experience using mobile POS systems or tablets.
• Strong understanding of sales techniques and customer engagement.
• Experience merchandising products or maintaining retail displays.
• Ability to identify upselling opportunities naturally.
• Beauty, wellness, skincare, or personal care product experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation
