Marketing Specialist

What follows is a description for a Marketing Specialist role with Spherion Staffing & Recruiting. This full-time position is based in our Madison office to support a collaborative environment, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per month. Occasional regional travel may be required. Salary: $55,000 - $65,000/year, based on experience. Overview Spherion Staffing & Recruiting is hiring a Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. Working directly with our Director of Revenue Operations, you will bring marketing initiatives to life across social media, recruitment marketing, hiring events, digital campaigns, sales collateral, and community partnerships. What You'll Do Content & Design: Create graphics, flyers, presentations, and sales collateral using Canva or similar design tools. Social & Digital: Schedule and publish content across social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) and manage email campaigns. Event Planning: Lead the execution of hiring events, trade shows, and customer appreciation activities. Recruitment Marketing: Coordinate and optimize job postings across recruiting platforms to attract top talent. Project Coordination: Manage promotional items, coordinate marketing vendors, and ensure project timelines are met. What We're Looking For 1-3+ years of marketing, communications, event planning, or project coordination experience preferred. Experience using Canva or similar graphic design software. Strong communication skills and an eye for creating polished, professional materials. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred (equivalent experience considered). Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
