Maintenance Technician

You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks for residential apartments and condominiums. Normal working hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. We have both part and full positions available. Responsibilities: Complete projects and repair orders in a timely fashion Maintain appearance of properties Perform routine preventive maintenance Painting, drywall repair, carpentry, cleaning, and grounds work Be able to move appliances and shovel snow Assist in making ready of apartments Clean Gutters Perform basic roof repairs/caulking Must be available to work in an "On-Call Rotation" and be available for after hours emergency maintenance calls every 3 weeks Qualifications: Must maintain a professional and courteous manner Must own your own hand tools Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Must be able to travel between job sites throughout the day using your own vehicle, primarily in the vicinity of Kirkwood. Mileage Reimbursement for miles driven throughout the workday. Ability to handle physical workload. Must be able to climb up to a 40 foot ladder and be comfortable with working on roofs and gutters. Must be able to trouble shoot general maintenance issues and come up with solutions. Must be able to work independently.
