Commissioning Technician
Pay: $30-$39/hr + overtime

Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking experienced Commissioning Technicians to perform installation, startup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems and associated controls. This direct-hire role requires strong technical skills, independent work ethic, and the ability to interact professionally with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Startup, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment and controls
• Interpret work orders and complete assigned service tasks
• Train building owners and apprentices on system operation
• Maintain truck inventory and procure necessary materials
• Oversee apprentices and helpers as needed
• Communicate project status and service updates with supervisors

Requirements:

• HVAC Journeyman or Master License
• EPA Certification
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, BOCA codes, and OSHA regulations
• Ability to read technical information and troubleshoot complex systems
• Candidate needs a strong mixture of installation, startup, and some service for commissioning of newly installed equipment
