About the Position

Job Title: RN Surgery Profession: RN Surgery Specialty: RN Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: Previous Epic Experience required Description: Delivers care to patients intra-operatively. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates with other health team members in providing care. Effectively interacts with surgical patients and health team members. Maintains high standards of professional nursing. Primary duties include circulating procedures, instrumentation of procedures, and assisting the surgeon and/or anesthesia providers. Provides high-quality care to surgical patient populations of any age. Surgical specialties include ENT, General, Orthopedics including Spine, Podiatry, Dental/Oral surgery, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, Urology, OB/Gynecology, Vascular, and Bariatric. Performs clinical care activities and nursing services such as circulating, instrumenting, first assisting, and patient education. Acts as a resource nurse. Call requirements are approximately 70-80 hours in a 4-week period. Response time is 30 minutes.
