Full-Time FLEX Security Officer

Location: Franklin and Hopkinton, MA area Schedule: Part‑time hours; schedule will vary weekly based on site needs. Candidates should be comfortable working 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts as needed. Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour (may vary by site). Key Responsibilities Patrol assigned client sites regularly to ensure safety of employees, visitors, and property. Monitor security cameras, alarms, and site activity for suspicious or unusual behavior. Manage and monitor access points, verify identification, maintain visitor logs, and follow site‑specific access procedures. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms; de‑escalate and document findings; escalate to management or emergency services as appropriate. Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations; prepare and submit reports in a timely manner. Follow site‑specific emergency procedures for evacuations, medical emergencies, safety concerns, and other critical incidents; work closely with local authorities when necessary. Ensure compliance with all post orders, client expectations, and Securitas policies and procedures; conduct routine security checks to identify potential risks or hazards. Provide coverage at multiple client sites as needed; adapt quickly to different post assignments, site expectations, and changing weekly schedules. Work closely with site contacts, branch leadership, and fellow security personnel to support consistent service and dependable coverage across locations. Qualifications Previous security, customer service, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required. Comfortable with a schedule that may vary from week to week based on business needs and site coverage demands. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and observational skills; ability to remain calm under pressure, work independently, and adapt to new environments and assignments. CPR, First Aid, or other related certifications are a plus, but not required. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, patrol facilities, and respond to emergencies.
