Job Opportunity: General Surgeon

We are currently looking for a skilled general surgeon to join our team, focusing on essential surgical procedures. Our facilities are equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and robotic technology, ensuring the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general surgical procedures.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic and robotic systems.
• Manage a shared call schedule.
• Collaborate with a strong network of referrals.
• Provide services at both the Waterloo Medical Center and Cedar Falls Medical Center.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Board certification in General Surgery.
• H-1B cap exempt status available; J-1 visa candidates are welcome.

Compensation and Benefits

• Guaranteed Salary: $476,000 for the first two years, with additional production incentives.
• Commencement Bonus: $70,000.
• Longevity Bonus: $30,000 after three years of service.
• Relocation Assistance: $15,000 moving allowance.
• Employer-covered malpractice insurance and tail coverage.
• Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance with shared premiums.
• Two retirement plans: a 403(b) with employer matching and a 457(b) savings plan.
