Requirements

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Dentrix
• Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
• Licensed dental hygienist

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of New Jersey.
Current CPR certification.
Excellent clinical skills and strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating a caring, compassionate, and personable demeanor.
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other dental professionals.
Reliable and professional work ethic.
Commitment to providing direct patient care with a focus on comfort and quality.

Job Description

Provide high-quality, comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, and polishing.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, oral cancer screenings, and review oral health history.
Take and interpret diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays).
Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and personalized treatment plans with a caring and personable demeanor.
Administer local anesthesia as permitted by state licensure.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within the practices system.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to strict infection control protocols.
Collaborate effectively with dentists and other dental professionals, working well in a team environment to ensure seamless patient care.
Ensure patient comfort throughout their visit, fostering a positive and welcoming experience.
Stay current with the latest developments in dental hygiene through continuing education.
