Maintenance TechnicianFriday through Sunday - 6 pm to 6 amAbout the RoleAs a Maintenance Technician, you will promote workplace efficiency and profitability by maintaining, inspecting and repairing facilities, equipment and machinery.What You'll DoDaily inspection and repair of all conveyor systems and equipmentRoutine inspection, preventative maintenance and maintenance of air compressors, generators, compactors, bailers, conveyors and power and material handling equipmentPerform inspection and repair of fire protection equipmentParts administrationPerform minor electrical and plumbing repairs, painting and office furniture movesPerform routine maintenance on heating and air conditioning unitsMaintain lighting throughout the facilitySort, stack and load pallets, cardboard, aluminum, steel and light bulbs for recyclingAssist outside contractors in performing various dutiesPromptly answer calls for jams, malfunctions or other maintenance-related issuesWhat Skills You HaveRequiredBasic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC equipmentCompliance with all MSDS standards and lock-out/tag proceduresAbility to climb ladders and run all power equipmentAbility to work with minimal supervisionMust provide own basic set of toolsAbility to use cleaning and disinfecting solutions, oil and equipment according to MSDS procedureEssential FunctionsThe requirements listed below are representative of functions you will be required to perform, however you may be required to perform additional functions.
