Location: Waterloo, Iowa Position: Locum Physician Hematology/Oncology

Opportunity Highlights

Flexible schedule 2 weeks per month (MondayThursday) Mostly outpatient with very limited inpatient responsibilities Hospitalists handle admissions Phone-only call (potentially 1 week + 1 weekend/month) No supervision of APPs required Teaching opportunities available EPIC EMR

Practice Details

Clinic volume: 1620 patients/day Average inpatient consults: 02 patients/day 2 Advanced Practice Providers and strong nursing support Services include:

Bone marrow biopsies
Antineoplastic therapy
IVIG
Iron infusions
Phlebotomies

Requirements

Board Certified Hematology/Oncology (Oncology with strong Hem/Onc experience considered) Fellowship Trained Active Iowa License or IMLC Available at least 2 weeks per month Clean NPDB & malpractice history
