Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00–17:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for an adult to geriatric inpatient population
• Perform calorie counts, monitor tube feedings, and manage total parenteral nutrition (TPN)
• Evaluate and address food-drug interactions as part of inpatient care
• Complete approximately 25 patient visits per day within a facility averaging a daily census of 280
• Float within the facility as needed and fulfill on-call responsibilities on weekends and after hours as assigned
• Work every 5th weekend and adhere to holiday coverage requirements as outlined by facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RD or RDN credential required
• Active Georgia Dietitian license required (may be obtained during the compliance period)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR documentation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with adult and geriatric inpatient populations
• Familiarity with high-census, fast-paced acute care environments
