Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Process Consultant to serve as a strategic advisor between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. This role will help optimize business processes, translate business needs into actionable ServiceNow solutions, and ensure platform capabilities are aligned with enterprise objectives.

The ideal candidate brings strong ServiceNow product and domain expertise , business process analysis experience, and the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders, process owners, and stakeholders to assess, analyze, and improve business processes.
• Analyze, design, and optimize workflows aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable backlog items .
• Develop, maintain, and prioritize product backlogs based on business value, priorities, and ROI.
• Collaborate closely with ServiceNow developers, architects, product owners, and technical delivery teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements.
• Promote ServiceNow platform best practices, with an emphasis on configuration over customization .
• Lead and support requirements gathering, process mapping, solution validation, testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and process improvement discussions.
• Create and maintain clear business process documentation, requirements, workflows, and supporting artifacts.
• Identify opportunities to leverage ServiceNow capabilities to improve efficiency, automation, user experience, and operational outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant, Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role .
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and enterprise workflow processes.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and optimizing business processes.
• Experience translating business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, epics, and backlog items.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops and working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product backlog management.
• Ability to evaluate business needs and recommend scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience promoting platform best practices and minimizing unnecessary customization.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or Certified Application Developer (CAD) .
• Experience with enterprise workflow transformation or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, or other enterprise workflow solutions.
• Experience in process governance, continuous improvement, and platform strategy.
