Solutions Architect

Full-time

Chainalysis

Our Solutions Architecture team understands high-level business strategy and translates it into technical requirements for our customers. We love figuring out ways to stretch the limits of what is technically possible. Our job is to provide technical leadership and guidance to customers, prospects, and partners, helping them visualise the steps to achieve their business objectives, and then delivering the outcome with them.

This role spans the whole customer journey. Before the sale, you are the technical lead alongside our Sales team, shaping the solution and earning the technical win. After the sale, you stay with the customer and deliver it, owning the hands-on work that turns a signed contract into a working, adopted capability. You own the outcome, not just the design. When a customer asks a question, you answer it. As a Solutions Architect, you'll develop a deep understanding of Chainalysis' solutions and offerings, explaining complex topics to a variety of audiences in a compelling yet understandable way. You'll directly impact some of our most strategic private sector customers, and throughout all of these activities you'll provide feedback that improves the value and experience customers have with Chainalysis' solutions. In this role, you'll:

  • Partner with the Sales team as the technical lead, running discovery, demonstrations, and proofs of value, and leading the discussions on value creation and solution development that achieve the technical win
  • Design customer-specific solutions for the deployment and integration of Chainalysis products, and give guidance on technical challenges ranging from high-level architecture to code implementation
  • Own the post-sale customer experience end to end, configuring, deploying, and tuning our products yourself rather than coordinating others who do it, and working alongside customer teams so they become self-sufficient
  • Drive sustained adoption and measurable value, from fast onboarding through to the ongoing work of monitoring usage, reviewing product health, tuning rules and alerts, and intervening when adoption slips
  • Map customer workflows to capabilities across the product suite, including investigations, compliance, security, and data analysis solutions
  • Investigate using Chainalysis tooling to a competent standard, tracing, attributing, and analysing on the platform, so you can surface actionable insights and integrate Chainalysis into the customer's compliance and risk workflows
  • Be the person customers look to for answers, resolving technical, compliance, analytical, and operational questions directly, and owning time-sensitive decisions by validating signals quickly and moving the right matters through the correct escalation path
  • Communicate and translate complex technical requirements to our Product and Engineering teams, including data gaps such as unclustered or unattributed services that you find in the field
  • Become a trusted technical advisor to both internal and external customers, identifying business opportunities and substantially increasing our foothold with private sector customers and prospects

We're looking for candidates who have

  • Worked in or directly with our private sector customer types: banks, cryptocurrency exchanges, payment processors, and blockchain developers
  • Practical understanding of compliance, investigative, and risk workflows, and can speak credibly from practitioner experience in investigations, compliance, fraud, risk, or security
  • A technical generalist background, comfortable with REST API integrations and familiar with how data is structured in SQL, and always interested in learning more
  • Experience of account or customer management for an enterprise SaaS business, including commercial awareness and partnering with sales counterparts on renewals and expansion
  • The ability to communicate clearly with both technical and executive audiences
  • Curiosity, fast learning, and motivation to solve difficult customer problems
  • A collaborative approach and generosity with knowledge
  • Fluency in English

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Financial compliance and anti-money laundering obligations
  • Proficiency in Python, REST API integrations, and SQL databases
  • Hands-on use of AI tooling to improve delivery quality or speed
  • Experience handling sensitive data and proprietary methods, and protecting them while using them effectively AI at Chainalysis AI is not a feature at Chainalysis - it is a new way of working. One that turns instructions into work done, and helps us move faster than the threats we're built to counter, and we expect our employees to take ownership of the output and ensure quality. As the world's most trusted blockchain analytics platform, Chainalysis sits at a rare intersection of proprietary data, regulatory relationships and crypto expertise that makes it uniquely placed to shape and lead the next era of AI-driven intelligence - and we expect everyone here, regardless of role, to be an active part of it.

AI fluency is tied directly to how we measure performance and how we plan to win. There is no substitute for your own curiosity. We provide the tools, workflows, and space to experiment - but the expectation is that you develop these capabilities yourself, bring ideas, and collaborate across teams to reinvent the way work gets done. We are not using AI to do less. We are using it to do what was never possible before.
