About the Position
Job Title: Wound Care RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: 3 years required License: Required Certifications: BLS, WCC preferred, ACLS & WOCN preferred Must-Have: Client experience required Travel experience required Charge experience preferred Experience with Cerner required Description: The Wound Care RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients with various wound conditions. The role includes assessment and management of pressure injuries, chronic wounds, and dermatologic conditions. Responsibilities involve performing wound assessments and utilizing novel therapies and wound vacs. Candidates should possess the ability to manage ostomy placements and provide education on wound care. The position requires teamwork with interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy and pharmacy. Every third weekend and every other holiday is required. The facility mandates that all employees receive the flu vaccine.
