Registered Nurse - Children's ER

Location: Reno, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 3x12, Nights

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Children's ER provides optimal patient care utilizing nursing knowledge and skills within the nursing process. The nurse is accountable for individualized patient outcomes throughout the care episode, delivering comprehensive nursing services to pediatric patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for pediatric patients.
• Provide compassionate interaction and care to patients and their families.
• Demonstrate comfort and proficiency in pediatric resuscitation and care for critically ill children.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Two years of experience in a Pediatric ER required.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC.
• Excellent documentation skills and quality patient/family interactions.
