QC Applications & Data Specialist

Abbott seeks a QC Applications Specialist in Madison to manage quality control automation, electronic databases, and statistical analysis systems. The role involves implementing and validating QC processes, developing analysis workbooks, and leading cross-functional quality initiatives in a regulated laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Electronic Form Database processes, form development, and serve as subject matter expert for test method EFD forms
• Lead or support quality control automation and liquid handling method script projects, including creation and implementation
• Develop, validate, and improve QC analysis workbooks using SAS JMP or similar statistical software
• Draft and execute validation protocols for quality system software in accordance with cGMP, FDA, and ICH guidelines
• Write, update, and review quality documents including SOPs and test methods compliant with regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical/Applied Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field plus 4+ years biotechnology experience
• 1+ years SAS JMP or equivalent statistical software for data trending and evaluation
• 1+ years coding and scripting within software and statistical applications
• 2+ years GMP/ISO13485 laboratory experience with strong GMP documentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Authorization to work in United States without sponsorship

Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
