Medical Assistant - Outpatient Clinic Job Details:
- Temporary 6-month assignment supporting an outpatient clinic setting
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Perform clinical and administrative duties consistent with the Medical Assistant scope of practice as defined by the Medical Board of California
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of a course of study consistent with Medical Assistant requirements as specified by the Medical Board of California required
- Completion of externship required by a Medical Assisting Program
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant required
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification awarded by the American Heart Association required
