Supply Chain - Billing Associate

APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify a Hospital Billing Coordinator. Location: Durham, NC 27705 Position: Hospital Billing Coordinator | Pay Rate: $29.30/hr | Duration: 26 weeks | Expected Shift: 40 hrs/week | M-F 6:00‑2:30PM, Onsite Qualifications HS Diploma 1+ years of Hospital Billing or Billing Operations experience Responsibilities Perform duties in computerized order entry, distribution of all supplies, linen, equipment, shipping and receiving of hospital merchandise. Maintain inventory management processes; meet supply needs with prompt delivery, ensure accurate issues, and keep equipment in good working order and available. Communicate effectively with clinical, administrative, vendor, and executive level leadership team. Have business and management experience in accounting and/or billing; patient billing experience is a plus. Perform the Bill-Only process within SAP. For procedures, ensure accurate payment for vendors that bring in or ship in product. Resolve discrepancies by coordinating with nursing staff and procurement. Provide customer service to vendors, nurses, patients, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely and correct payment and clear communication. Regularly check email and respond to inquiries. Work primarily at a desk, using a computer; occasional face‑to‑face interactions within the OR Core may be required as directed by the manager. Work independently, pacing through the Bill-Only process, and complete Bill-Only entries within 1 week of patient surgery at Duke University Hospital after successful training. Ask questions and collaborate with a team that shares common values. Organize patient Bill-Only entries by vendor tab to ensure accuracy and meet audit requirements. Other duties may be assigned by management as needed.
