Advertising Account Executive

Comcast Advertising is driving the TV advertising industry forward, from delivering ads to linear and digital audiences to pioneering the tech that makes it possible. We help brands connect with their audiences on every screen using advanced data, technology, and premium video content. Our media sales division helps local, regional, and national brands reach potential customers through multiscreen TV advertising. Our ad tech division FreeWheel provides comprehensive adtech that makes it easier to buy and sell premium video advertising across all screens, data types, and sales channels.

As an Advertising Account Executive, you'll help local businesses grow by developing advertising strategies that connect with their goals and drive measurable results. You'll manage and expand a portfolio of clients, serving as a trusted advisor who understands their needs and recommends effective advertising solutions across TV, streaming, and digital platforms. This role combines relationship building, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision making. You'll work closely with clients and internal partners to develop campaigns, track performance, and identify opportunities for continued growth.

Core Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with local clients within an assigned territory.
• Identify client business needs and recommend advertising strategies across TV, streaming, and digital platforms.
• Create, present, and execute customized media plans aligned with client objectives.
• Partner with internal teams to support successful campaign delivery and performance.
• Monitor campaign results, analyze reporting insights, and recommend optimizations.
• Manage sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline activity.
• Build trust through a consultative sales approach, effective presentations, and solution-oriented problem solving.
• Prioritize accounts and opportunities based on market conditions and business needs.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary: Virginia Pay Range: $54,613.48 - $81,920.21

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.

Targeted Commission: $46,198.00

Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
