Back Tax & Treasury Analyst Tax Dallas , Texas Dallas:Fin/Acct/HR:Direct Hire Sep 21, 2026 Our client is seeking a Tax & Treasury Analyst to support the tax and cash management functions. The role is split roughly evenly between tax accounting and treasury analysis. Key Responsibilities Tax Compliance: Prepare and maintain workpapers supporting federal and state income tax filings for partnerships, trusts, corporations, and individuals. External Coordination: Serve as the day-to-day liaison to external tax preparers, managing information requests, filing calendars, and deliverable tracking. Estimates & Projections: Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations and taxable income projections across entities. K-1 Management: Track inbound and outbound K-1s, reconcile to book records, and maintain partner and beneficiary capital account detail. Return Review: Review draft returns for accuracy, consistency across entities, and proper treatment of book-to-tax differences. Planning Support: Assist with research and modeling on entity structuring, gifting, basis, and transaction‑related tax matters. Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions across bank and brokerage accounts, ensuring adequate liquidity and efficient allocation at each entity. Cash Forecasting: Build and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts incorporating capital calls, distributions, debt service, and operating needs. Capital Movements: Prepare and document intercompany transfers, funding requests, and distributions, ensuring proper approval and recordkeeping. Banking Administration: Support banking relationships, including account openings, signatory maintenance, and treasury platform administration. Treasury Reporting: Produce recurring liquidity and treasury reporting for principals and leadership. Process & Systems: Contribute to process improvements and automation across tax and treasury workflows, leveraging technology for efficient reporting and analytics. Qualifications 2+ years in public accounting or a comparable finance role; Big 4 background strongly preferred. Exposure to family offices, partnerships, trusts, or private investment structures is a plus. Active CPA license required. Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Taxation or Accounting a plus. Advanced Excel and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite; experience with accounting and tax software (Sage Intacct, CCH Axcess, or similar) preferred, with a strong interest in leveraging technology to enhance reporting capabilities.
