Project Accountant

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role or a current college attendee. Excellent computer knowledge and proficiency in Excel. Experience using QuickBooks is a plus. Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to respond clearly, quickly, and effectively. Must be organized, dependable and detail oriented. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Viewpoint Vista experience preferred. Construction experience preferred.Job DescriptionProject-based accounting functions such as pay-when-paid Accounts Payable.Support Project Leads in completing Accounts Receivable in timely manner.Collect all necessary lien waivers and assist in completing the documentation for invoices to be delivered to clients.Perform comprehensive weekly cash analysis and present.Perform other accounting tasks such as bank deposits, process expense reimbursement reports.Perform monthly bank reconciliations.Assist in month-end procedures to ensure timely closing of financial statements.Participate in cross training with other team members to ensure seamless transition between different entities.Work with members across the organization to streamline processes and procedures.
