Minimum Qualifications

• Educational Background: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Clinical Experience: Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and possession of a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Licensing: An active SLP license in Michigan is mandatory to commence the assignment.
• Certifications: BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be necessary.
• Preferred Experience: Background in skilled nursing facility settings is advantageous.
• Dysphagia Expertise: Experience with adult dysphagia assessment and treatment is preferred.
• Documentation Skills: Proficiency in completing documentation using electronic medical records is required.
• Travel Requirement: The position involves a split assignment between facilities in Kalamazoo, MI, and Hastings, MI; candidates must be open to traveling between these locations.
