DutiesHelpConduct rigorous biopsychosocial assessments, diagnose mental health conditions using the DSM-5-TR, and deliver targeted individual and group therapy for both acute and chronic conditions.Evaluate treatment effectiveness using objectives and measurable outcomes and makes appropriate adjustments for increased compliance and efficacy.Maintain appropriate documentation of patient care in accordance with current unit and hospital standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current DoD, DHA Federal and state regulations.Manage high-risk patients (e.g., trauma, suicidality), provide crisis intervention, and serve as a consultant to both multidisciplinary medical teams and military commanders regarding service member readiness, duty limitations, and safety planning.Develop, implement, and evaluate professional development activities, coordinate inter and intra-departmental in-service training on Mental Health related topics.
