Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential care and support as a Registered Nurse within a vibrant elementary school setting. The assignment runs through the academic year, with immediate start available and end date in late May, allowing you to make a daily difference for K–6 students. With a student body of approximately 800, you’ll serve as a crucial healthcare resource, backed by a certified nurse for support. This is an onsite-only position with a manageable, collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Demonstrated expertise working with diabetes management, seizure protocols, allergy emergencies, and asthma care
• Confident in using and supporting Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare environment preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day health support to K–6 students, with a focus on safety, wellness, and timely intervention
• Deliver individualized care for students with diabetes, including assistance with a CGM and insulin pump
• Administer medication, respond to injuries, and manage chronic health concerns such as allergies and asthma
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and a certified nurse to coordinate and communicate care plans
• Engage in emergency response, health assessments, and parent communication as needed

This full-time, onsite role follows a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with early release on Wednesdays, supporting work-life balance. The position is ideally suited for a compassionate RN with a passion for pediatric care and health education.
