Forklift Operator

Is currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team at our Plainfield. This role will focus on the efficient handling and movement of products in a warehouse environment, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining a safe and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts sit down and reach, pallet jacks, etc.) to load, unload, and move materials
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications
• Ensure accuracy of inventory counts and manage stock levels
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Assist with organizing and storing goods in proper locations
• Support inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely processing
• Work closely with other team members and departments to meet daily goals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification may be required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
