Software Development Engineer in Test

Software Development Engineer In TestConsolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. is seeking an energetic and talented Software Development Engineer in Test to support our development teams in delivering high quality software. The engineer will work closely with program managers, product owners, and scrum teams to ensure that quality processes and automated tests are prioritized and implemented properly.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field3 to 5 years in a QA automation roleExperience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with various teams and management groupAbility to solve complex problems, including use of research, analysis and expertise to develop creative, innovative solutionsExperience with:Object-oriented programming using C# in Visual Studio IDETest automation frameworks (such Selenium, Playwright)Test case and build management tools (preferably Azure DevOps)Version control systems (preferably Git)SQL Server (complex joins, inserts, updates)Preferred Qualifications:Automated testing of client-server applicationsAPI testingExperience in the Wholesale Distribution industryWorking Conditions:This job operates in a professional office environment and extensively uses computer equipment.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoEssential Job Functions:Design, develop and maintain automation tests written in C# for client-server applicationsWork collaboratively with scrum teams and product owners to identify test cases to automateCoordinate with scrum teams to report test failuresCommunicate test progress, results, testing metrics and issues to key stakeholdersSupport ongoing work to continuously improve test automation processes and frameworksCED is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability | Veteran
