About the Facility – Uintah and Ouray Health Center Leave the hazards of urban life behind and apply your skills to a wide scope of health care. This ambulatory 40-hour facility is staffed by physicians, physician's assistants, nurse practitioners, and dental, optometry, and psychology providers. They provide comprehensive public health services including general medical, surgical follow-up, pediatric, prenatal and postpartum care. Dental, behavioral health, and optometry services are also available. Other clinical specialties are provided by visiting consultants and are scheduled periodically. Radiology Technician - Responsibilities

• Radiology technician will provide patient education on radiology services.
• She'll carry out physician orders to take clean X ray film images. These images are of the foot and ankle, lower extremity, abdomen, extremities, school and facial homes as per the provider request.
• The radiology technician shall be proficient in the use of radiology equipment to send the radiographic images to an outside facility so they can be read by a radiologist.

Radiology Technician - Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of two years of experience as a radiology technician with two years of experience within the respective specialty.
• Education: Have a certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree from an accredited program on radiology technological sciences.
• Licensure: The physician must have an active, unrestricted, and free of disciplinary action license as a physician in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States. Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.
