Job Title: Welder Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel. Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. Prepare materials before welding and select appropriate welding techniques. Ensure the quality and strength of welds through precise techniques. Maintain safety standards and comply with OSHA regulations. Operate welding machines and tools efficiently. Essential Skills Proficiency in TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel. Ability to pass a math test (simple adding/subtracting decimals, identifying measurements on a ruler in inches). Ability to pass MIG/TIG weld test. Ability to read blueprints. Must have own welding helmet and gloves. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with fabrication, stainless steel, and blueprint reading. Knowledge of grinding and welding machines. Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in welding. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avon, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
