Clinical Positions in Rheumatology 2026-2027

Position Overview The Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is recruiting full-time clinician educators in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks. Practices include San Luis Obispo, Ventura, and Westwood area. Salary range: $146,700 – $442,800. The posted UC Salary Scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. Eligibility for additional compensation is provided through the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Responsibilities

• Minimum 36 hours per week of direct patient care.
• Clinical teaching of medical students, residents, and/or fellows.
• Participation in scholarly activities, creative professional pursuits, and university or public service.
• Engagement in teaching, scholarly contributions, and administration as part of the clinical professor role.

Essential Qualifications An M.D., D.O., or equivalent is required. Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Rheumatology. Completed Rheumatology training by June 30, 2026.
