Controls EngineerJoin as Professional Contract Type Unlimited Working time Full-time Compensation According to agreementYour tasks:Project lead for software development, PLC programming and IT infrastructure implementations.Perform investigations, trials, and improvements in automated manufacturing processes.Set up machines and devices to prepare investigations as indicated.Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans according to company standards (including process flow diagrams, PQIs, process control documentation, standard work instructions, etc).Identifies and resolves quality issues related to automated equipment.Mentors hourly skilled associates in proactive maintenance of assigned processes, including development of qualification cards and other training material.Identify and lead projects to improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and utilization of manufacturing processes in order to meet Policy Deployment objectives.Actively participate in daily management of area using MES and other analytics/data to meet targets and derive measures to continuously improve performance.Your profile:BS in Engineering (Controls, Automation, Electrical, or Mechanical) and 3+ years technical experience.Hands-on experience with highly automated equipment technologies- such as CNC machines and High Pressure Deburr, robots (Kuka, Staubly), automated axis systems, vision systems, and feeding systems.Mechanical and electrical hardware design/upgrade experience.Programming experience with object-oriented languages and web technologies (PLC programming, C#, Python, HTML/Javascript)Experience with data analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc)Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle) and IT concepts (VMs, networking)Experience in high volume/technology manufacturing processes within the automotive industry preferred.Ability to read and define electric drawings, pneumatic and/or hydraulic plans.Project leadership skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet established targets.Ability to work on cross-functional teams with a high degree of self-initiative.Experience utilizing problem solving techniques to solve complex manufacturing issues (Six Sigma, Shainin, 5 whys).Ability to travel (including internationally) for training, projects, and IPN activities.Contact & additional information:Competitive SalaryCompetitive Time Away from Work PolicyPaid Time Off (PTO): 16 days (Up to 30 days based on seniority)Personal Days (PAA): 5 daysCompany Paid Holidays: 9 daysPaid Parental Leave: 6 WeeksIndustry Best Retirement Benefit401k - 75% match up to the first 9% contributionUnique Bosch Defined Contribution (BDC) plan provides 100% company-funded 401(k) contributions, ranging from 2.5% to 6.5% of your pay, helping you secure your financial futureStudent Debt Retirement Savings MatchProfit Sharing Bonus (CPrP) up to 10%Medical, dental, and vision coverageOnsite Cafeteria with multiple menu optionsOnsite Starbucks CafeOnsite Bosch Store (Employee Discount)Your well-being matters at Bosch!
