AI Engineer - Forward Deployed Engineer

Salary: $61,800 - 220,400 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 4 years of engineering experience with the Snowflake AI Data Cloud and large-scale data initiatives, including Snowpark, Dynamic Tables, Streams and Tasks, and Snowsight.
• We need at least 4 years of experience with Python, Java, or a similar language, along with familiarity with evaluation tooling, logging, monitoring, and observability.
• We need at least 4 years of experience delivering production solutions, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code such as Terraform and Helm, monitoring, and debugging.
• We need practical MLOps and LLMOps experience across the full ML and LLM lifecycle, including model training, serving, monitoring, and prompt management.
• We need at least 1 year of experience designing and delivering agentic AI solutions in production.
• We need at least 1 year of experience shipping agentic solutions in production using AI platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, or open-source tools, together with Snowflake Cortex AI.
• We need experience building API layers that expose data and AI or ML capabilities to enterprise systems.

• We design and engineer enterprise-ready AI agents, including retrieval, orchestration, tool invocation, and evaluation frameworks.
• We build Snowflake data pipelines using Dynamic Tables, Streams, and Tasks, and we use the Snowsight interface for query development, dashboards, and operational oversight.
• We add GenAI capabilities to Snowflake workloads using Cortex AI, including Cortex Search, Cortex Analyst, and Cortex LLM functions.
• We optimize Snowflake data models, queries, and processing flows for speed and cost efficiency.
• We process large-scale data on Snowflake using SQL, Python, and the Spark ecosystem.
• We tailor and deploy agentic applications across finance, healthcare, and retail, and we lead workshops, PoCs, and code-with sessions with clients.
• We define and apply metrics for agent accuracy, latency, safety, and cost.
• We operate MLOps and LLMOps pipelines with CI/CD across the ML and LLM lifecycle.
