Compensation based on experience. A bit about us: A growing heavy machining and OEM manufacturing company is looking to add an experienced CNC Horizontal Boring Bar Operator to its machining team. This is an opportunity to join a stable shop environment focused on large‑part precision machining, custom OEM work, and complex job shop manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating CNC horizontal boring mills within a heavy industrial machining environment and be comfortable working with large components, tight tolerances, and a job shop environment. Stable and growing company with a strong reputation in heavy machining and OEM manufacturing Opportunity to work on large, complex, and highly specialized components Clean, team-oriented shop environment with modern equipment Steady workflow with a variety of challenging machining projects Competitive compensation, overtime opportunities, and strong benefits package Long‑term career growth and advancement opportunities within the organization Leadership team that values experienced machinists and promotes from within Responsibilities Operate CNC horizontal boring bar machines on large OEM and job shop components Perform setups, tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and machining specifications Machine large fabricated and cast components to tight tolerances Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment Work closely with programming, engineering, and quality teams Maintain safe and organized work areas Qualifications Previous experience operating CNC horizontal boring mills Background within heavy machining, large‑part machining, or OEM manufacturing Ability to read blueprints and perform own inspections Experience with tight tolerance machining Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and setups Stable work history preferred Preferred Experience Large‑part machining Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or similar controls Crane or rigging experience Job shop manufacturing environment Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
