Sr. Program Manager, Plasmid DNA / Cell and Gene Therapies (Client-Facing)

Senior Program Manager leading complex plasmid DNA programs for a CDMO, managing strategic client relationships and cross-functional execution from process validation through commercial supply. This client-facing role integrates contractual commitments with technical and operational delivery while reporting to VP of North America Sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-program portfolios across strategic accounts with concurrent projects, managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional dependencies
• Develop and maintain senior-level client relationships, serving as trusted advisor for program direction and partnership outcomes
• Drive cross-functional alignment and decision-making, resolving competing priorities across manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and finance functions
• Translate master service agreements and contracts into executable operating requirements; partner on scope changes and commercial protection
• Establish program governance, track metrics, forecast capacity, and provide regular leadership updates on status, risks, and growth opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in scientific field strongly preferred
• 7+ years client-facing project, program, or account management in life sciences
• 5+ years experience in GMP-regulated CDMO environment preferred
• Working knowledge of plasmid DNA manufacturing for cell, gene therapy, or genomic medicine
• Experience managing regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical programs and contracts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with risk forecasting ability
