Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-4:00pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch break daily Pay rate: $35.00/hr Responsibilities Support the development of new haircare products or modifications of existing ones. Makes constructive contributions to product formulation Determines stability of the formulation and ensures commercial feasibility. Responsible for several projects of different degrees. Assures that all testing to guarantee a marketable final product is on schedule. Keeps laboratory management and key project members informed of progress Designs & conducts experiments requiring the selection of equipment & materials for the delivery of the project Qualifications Four year (B.S. or B.A.) Chemistry, Biology, Health Science or Biochemistry degree is required 2+ year of experience desired Microsoft office, SAP a plus. Statistical analysis skills a plus Good working knowledge of analytical techniques required. Solid awareness and practice of safe lab procedures. Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in written formats. Problem solving skills a plus. Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients a plus.
