Job Details Job Location: Scottsdale, AZ 85260 Position Type: Part Time Travel Percentage: Some Travel Between Campuses Required Note: This position is part time, 20 hours per week. Summary Description As the AVL Engineer, you are a vital part of the Team, responsible for carrying on the Vision, Mission and Values of SBC. In this role, you will report to the Production Director and are responsible to oversee and help provide the highest quality audio and technical experience for our campus (multisite) worship environments. Essential Responsibilities Work with the campus pastor, Campus Production Manager and campus leadership to achieve a consistent Scottsdale Bible experience that is set by the Production Director’s expectations and Scottsdale Bible’s standard of excellence Be responsible for the setup and running of rehearsals, classes and services Help prep and train volunteers of various classes and in all the rooms containing production gear Work with volunteers and provide occasional support of various weekday evening and weekend classes and events Provide support on all campuses as directed and available for various projects and events Work under the Production Manager/Director of Campus Production to provide excellent and consistent audio and production support for our congregation, YTH, DK and other ministries according to the standards of the Production Director Be responsible for the volunteer staffing of all services Help with training of volunteer teams Work with the campus producer to provide the oversight of equipment, repair and the inventory of supplies Skills you need to succeed: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) Current technologies, operations, and installation Demonstrated competency in Customer focus Action‑oriented Problem solving Operating live audio and recording equipment Developing and training AVL volunteers Recruiting volunteers Planning and prepping audio for live worship and events of various styles/sizes Producing worship services Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to Work nights and weekends Work with worship and arts leaders, sensitive to their needs and expectations Work in a changing, fast‑paced environment, while maintain a positive attitude Make decisions during time‑sensitive, live productions Work in a team environment with other ministry leaders; active contributor during production sessions, creative thinker in planning for worship/special events, collaborative leader during disciple training Maintain a high degree of professionalism and accuracy Shift focus quickly from one project to another Manage several projects simultaneously Successfully manage tasks and be accountable for the work results of others Be flexible Forecast as well as attend to weekly details Handle confidential information Discern needs and respond appropriately Personal Qualifications Committed to spiritual growth Relationally unified Servant‑hearted Operates in grace and truth Dependable and consistent with the ability to promote good communication within SBC and presents a positive image of the church to the community Takes initiative Integrity of work habits and result Detail‑oriented Team Player Regular attender and SBC member, or willing to become a member Education and/or Experience 3+ years of experience in a related role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
