Activity Director – Arbor Terrace Peachtree City The Activity Director is responsible for leading the community's assisted living and memory care activity programs, including developing and implementing programming geared towards a variety of individual abilities and interests. This position also includes supervising other members of the activity staff. Responsibilities Lead the community's assisted living and memory care activity programs, developing and implementing programming for diverse abilities and interests. Supervise activity staff and coordinate individual and group engagement activities for residents, assisting with special community events. Plan and coordinate activities, maintain a monthly calendar of activities and events that provide resident and family-centered experiences. Prepare the monthly newsletter. Qualifications Passion for working with active senior adults and adults with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. At least one year of job-related experience, preferably in a senior living environment. Strong organizational, computer, written and verbal communication skills. Creative, energetic, upbeat, positive, and customer‑service oriented with a teamwork attitude.
