Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner

Position Title: Clinical Director (Psych NP)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP) to join our healthcare team in Omaha, Nebraska . The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients experiencing mental health disorders. You will collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up visits for patients across various age groups.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate overall care.

• Provide patient and family education on mental health conditions and medications.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Stay current with developments in psychiatric medicine and best practices in mental health care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

• License: Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Nebraska .

• Certification: Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) .

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.

Schedule & Benefits:

• Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends or on-call, depending on facility)

• Competitive salary: $120,000 - $140,000 annually With Productivity Bonus
