Transportation Coordinator

• Transportation Coordinator-Goldsboro Fresh
  JOB DESCRIPTION :
  Position will require the following job functions:
  
  • Follow up with truckers daily to verify delivery; notify customers and sales staff of any delivery issues.
  • Complete freight report utilizing BOL information.
  • Verify invoices/match up bills from carriers then forward to Troutman for payment.
  • Book carriers for all trucks.
  • Manage/schedule pickup for all FOB trucks.
  • Make appointments for all deliveries.
  • Manage pallet inventory for Sysco fob carrier.
  • Check logs at guard shack for truck departures & pallet reports.
  • Make freezer appointments when loads are scheduled to ship.
  • Participate in daily production meetings with production coordinator and shipping (morning & afternoon).
  • Exhibit the highest possible level of customer service to all customers, visitors and prospects.
  Individual should have the following characteristics:

  Position located in Goldsboro, NC.
  
  
  Position reports to Sales Manager, Goldsboro Fresh Division
  No travel required.
