The Physicians Spine and Rehabilitation Specialist is currently seeking a professional Medical Assistant for our Sandy Springs location.

*Full-time Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:30, Friday 7:30-11:30

*Job Duties Include:*

•Escorting patients back to exam rooms in a timely manner.

•Taking and recording vital signs and medical histories.

•Assisting physicians during examinations as directed.

•Preparing and ordering prescriptions as requested by physicians.

•Utilizing EHR for documentation purposes.

•Scheduling appointments, tests, procedures, and/or surgery following all scheduling protocols.

•Responding to clinical phone calls.

•Obtaining urine drug screens from patients.

•Assisting physicians and administrative staff as requested.

*Qualification:*

•High School diploma or equivalent required

•6+ months medical office experience is preferred but not required

•Graduate of an accredited MA Program is preferred but not required

•Excellent communication, multi-tasking and customer service skills required
