Senior Maintenance Technician

Do you have 4 or more years of production maintenance experience and a knack for keeping equipment running? A locally owned food manufacturer, operates an extremely well maintained dry food facility and is looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician to be the go-to troubleshooter supporting production.

You will have a direct impact on the facility's reliability, safety, and efficiency, with a safety first culture, steady weekday hours, and a path to permanent hire. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, your duties include:

• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machines
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment downtime to keep production running at maximum output
• Document repairs, adjustments, and mechanical maintenance reports
• Partner with Production and Engineering on preventive maintenance schedules and equipment upgrades
• Train and support other maintenance technicians

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
• The first two weeks of training run 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Pay:

$32 to $36 per hour, depending on experience

Senior Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of experience as a production maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting of automated mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment, including pneumatic actuators and cylinders
• Ability to interpret manuals and schematics, with strong knowledge of mechanical alignment
• Skilled with hand tools and multimeters to diagnose equipment problems
• Experience writing maintenance procedures and reports, with basic MS Office knowledge
