This position is for a new Chick-fil-A restaurant opening May 2026 in the Grafton area of Yorktown, VA. Full Time Team Members selected for this role will begin employment and complete training at Chick-fil-A Victory Boulevard. Once the Grafton location opens, Team Members will transition to the new restaurant.

Please note that the projected opening date is subject to change. Applicants must be willing to train at the Victory Boulevard location and transition to the Grafton restaurant upon opening. Schedule flexibility may be required during the training period and initial opening weeks.

This position is great for an individual that loves to be in the kitchen and loves to make their food beautiful before serving. This position is also for an individual that can work independently and as a team. The individual that takes this position will need good time management skills, grit, integrity, punctuality, consistency, and be reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing bulk ingredients such as: lettuce, soup items, fruit, sliced chicken and more
• Making salads, wraps, fruit cups, mac and cheese, etc..
• Maintaining a food safe environment
• Producing Chick-fil-A Quality products at all times
• Managing your own time
• Completing Daily checklists
• Working as a team to make sure that the shift behind you is set up for success
• Communicating with the kitchen team
• Making special salads and items for guests
• Assisting in the kitchen when needed

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to follow recipes, safety procedures, and operational guidelines precisely
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 810 hours per shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally (e.g., catering trays, product boxes).
• Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and reaching overhead.
• Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working in hot or cold conditions (such as kitchen, walk-in cooler/freezer, or outside).
