In addition to your competitive salary, we offer market-leading benefits and perks: A selection of comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans 401k with 100% match up to 6%, immediately vested upon enrollment Scholarships and paid professional development Robust Reimbursement Programs: Childcare, Tuition, Wellness Spending Account, Cellphone Onsite gym Mental Health Reimbursement $2,000 annual HRA and HSA contribution Free catered lunches every day + fully stocked kitchen Flexible Spending Account Living Generously program with 100% charitable contribution match What You'll Do Serve as the go-to resource for employee benefits questions, providing high-touch, 1:1 concierge guidance across medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life, disability, retirement, and voluntary benefits Help employees navigate the tough stuff — claims issues, provider searches, prior authorizations, appeals, and coordination of benefits Own benefits communications, including new hire onboarding, open enrollment campaigns, life event guidance, and ongoing education Partner with carriers and vendors to resolve escalated employee issues Support open enrollment planning, meetings, and post-enrollment follow-up Reconcile and process monthly benefits invoices across carriers and vendors Audit enrollment data, payroll deductions, and carrier eligibility files for accuracy Manage life event changes, new hire enrollments, and terminations in HRIS and carrier portals Maintain benefits records, documentation, and a compliance calendar Ensure timely distribution of required notices and plan documents (SPDs, SBCs, SMMs, HIPAA, COBRA, WRAP, Medicare Part D, SAR) Support annual compliance activities including ACA (1094/1095) reporting, PCORI, and CMS filings Partner with our brokerage on the Form 5500 filing, providing data and documentation as needed Support COBRA administration and coordinate with third-party administrators Stay current on federal and state regulatory changes affecting group health and welfare plans Who You Are A warm, empathetic people person who's just as comfortable heads-down in a spreadsheet as across the table from a teammate 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, benefits administration, HR, or a related field (HR, insurance/brokerage, or healthcare/medical backgrounds all welcome) Working knowledge of group health and welfare plans and applicable regulations (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, Section 125) Experienced with benefits billing reconciliation and vendor management Skilled at translating complex benefits concepts into plain language employees can actually use Detail-oriented and comfortable juggling multiple deadlines Proficient in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Discreet with confidential and sensitive employee information Preferred experience: Familiarity with self-funded medical plans Prior experience supporting benefits compliance and required notice distribution A clinical, patient advocacy, or medical claims background We are an equal opportunity employer.
